Sapphire dual x r9 280x VS sapphire hd 7950 OC with boost vapor x

Solution

If you have $30 extra, I'd get the r9 280X as it has a bit more performance considering it has higher clock speeds both in the GPU core and memory, but yes it's basicly a rebadge but faster. The cooling technology is probably better on the r9 280X as well because it's a newer model for a cooler.

The 280X has a slightly harder effective memory clock speed as well as higher memory and core clock speeds. It's basicly a redbadge of the 7950, if you want to spend an extra $30, go ahead and get the 280X.

Forgot to mention that I'm only going for 60 FPS 1080P gaming at high/max settings. Was wondering if the 7950 could handle that and so the 30 dollars upgrade would not make much difference?
