hi..anyone can help me...my GPU and CPU got high temp after idle for 20mins without any programs running.. CPU temp 64 deg cel and my GPU reached 81 deg cel..
note: there is no programs/software running yet after 20-30mins my temp is getting high..please help..

Solution
Open the side panel of your case and leave it that way for now. Test for temperatures again with side panel open. You might have very bad airflow.

Also, clean all heatsinks from dust and make sure all fans are spinning.

What CPU and GPU are you using? Make sure you have a good enough cooling system. What i mean is that you cant have a GTX Titan Z with only a 80mm Fan in your case. Maybe the temperature in your room is very high. I suggest you check if you correctly applied thermal paste on the CPU, even the GPU, and also make sure you installed the Fans properly.

CPU = AMD A8 6600k with maelstrom 120k cooling and my GPU is only GT630.. Cooler master N400 case with 2 front 120mm intake cougar fan, 2 intake 120mm couagar fan, 2 120mm exhaust fan on top and 1 120mm pull fan for radiator..

if it is just on idle and not doing anything it should not go that high even with bad airflow and dusty fans.

but do the cleaning and re apply thermal paste and make sure your heatsink are properly installed.

what is your motherboard and your powersupply? (exact model)

if its just on idle and overheating it might be power surges.

when i open my PC, after loading in desktop, the idle temp is CPU = 45deg cel and GPU = 34deg cel...then after 20-30mins WITHOUT programs or software running the temp of CPU and GPU is getting higher until 65 on CPU and 81 on GPU...i really dont know why and im done cleaning and reapplying thermal paste and fixing the heatsink...

I meant if you can actually feel the heat exhausted from your PC. There may be a bug with the software your using. If your room wont rise high temperatures, you shouldnt be concerned about what the BIOS or software is showing, only if you experience low frame rates in games or throtling.

mobo: asrock fm2a55m-vg3+
PSU: Generic 600watts

i cant believe my GPU and CPU reached that temp only in idle..

try changing the power supply and do some benchmarks - if it still persist then your mobo is the culprit.

generic power supply can cause power surges that can fry your components or will kill your components slowly.

get a better psu from trusted brands. evga, seasonic, thermaltake, corsair, xfx, etc.

no need to go overkill here a 550 watts is mostly sufficient even for a r9 290x just make sure it is from a trusted brand a not a generic one, you would know if it is generic it has no or 1 80mm fan on the back the cables are not sleeved and it weighs like a carton box.

i suggest you look at this first and buy a psu from tier 3 to tier 1 http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html
