Hello, my graphics card requires 2 six pin pci connectors. My PSU is modular and the cables have multiple connectors at different lengths, so do I need to put 2 seperate pci cables to power the card or do I put 1 cable and use 2 of the connectors from the same cable.

Thanks.

With that psu and graphics card you can run what ever configuration cables you want.
I run the single cable with the 2 6+2pin plugs from my ax760 to an R9 290 with out any problems.
You can run 2 cables if you want, it won't effect anything, it's just more cables manage.

It will depend on what psu and graphics card you have.
If it's a decent quality psu you will be fine to use the single cable with the split connectors.
If the psu is on the cheap side with multi rails it would be best to use 2 separate cables.

It is an ax860 and a gtx 970. There is no problem adding another cable, but its not going to break it if I do? They dont have to be hooked up to the same wire?
