I recently Built a Gaming Rig with the Following specs :-
Processor : Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz
RAM : Corsair Value Select 8x1 GB 1600MHz DDR3
GPU : Asus Strix Nvidia Geforce GTX 970

What can Be the Best option For a Full HD gaming experience?
This year I will probably Buy a New 1080p LED screen......But I am Unable to decide whether I should buy a Monitor or a HDTV.
- My Budget will be $250.
- Also I will Enable Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D.
So Please kindly give me few suggestions about this issue.

Well, I game on a TV too because I care more about the picture quality than response time and refresh rate. But plasma TVs have a lot better color production and black levels, so the picture quality is excellent to watch movies or shows with. The difference between TVs and monitors is TVs have a much longer response time than monitors do, at least most do, so when the game needs the whole picture to respond real fast, the TV may not be able to keep up, and so you'll lag for like a second or two. But rarely happens with my TV. So if you don't play a lot of fast action games, you could go with TVs for better picture quality. But if you want a very good gaming experience, especially if you have a gtx 970, I think a 1080p 144Hz monitor...

I would get something like this instead if you do a lot of fast action fps gaming and use that 970 to its full potential to run 1080p at 144Hz. But you want don't care that much about response times and smoothness as much as graphics or picture quality, then you could try to get a plasma TV osomething. You can play your games with up to 140+ fps without any tearing with this monitor, which makes your gaming experience very smooth.

I don't know much about Plasma TV but I hope Gaming wont be a problem on this.
Still What's the Difference Between 1080p LED TV and 1080p LED Monitor ?
Why Refreshrates matters a lot for Gaming while normal LED screens have only 60Hz ?

Also have a higher refresh rate means you can have your fps to get higher than 60 without causing screen tearing. So if you had a 60Hz monitor and your fps is higher than that, you will see screen tearings every time you turn. Having a 144Hz monitor will help you eliminate that and let's you keep that high fps without causing any tearing, and so that gives you a steady and clear picture while having your game run very smooth.

Okay, that monitor has 1 response time and 144Hz refresh rate, the highest they have as of today, so with your 970, you should be able to use that monitor to its full potential with no issues at all, happy gaming and may you have a super smooth gaming experience :)
