both are good. They're both around the same performance wise. Both have M.2. Go for the cheaper one.
PS: Also look at GB Z97X-SLI, it ships at around the same price and has SLI capability.

i got the asus hero VII
The build-quality is insane.
The bios is really simple ( even for a first time builder like me ).
Overclocking is really, really easy
audio is very good.
Verdict: it's an expenisve board, but i would buy it again in a second.
PS: i dont have a window, but you got some nice led lights on this board if you are into that sort of things.
