I'm asking for 1080p gaming on 60hz monitor, nothing more then that !

I got contacted by my retail shop that I can get refund due to that fiasco with 3.5 vram and 0.5gb slower vram. Only option is that card at the moment and from benchmarks I think that I should be staying with gtx970 ? Am I right ?

There is no reason to "downgrade" to a R9 290X. The gtx 970 still performs as expected when it was released at 1080p. If you still insist to boycott Nvidia, then go AMD then.

I agree with you guys I just needed confirmation. I oc'ed my gpu at 1500/7800 and works smooth 60fps in all games. I was just wondering, I dont want more mistakes with buying new hardware. I love Nvidia and It's not first time that I got "betrayed" so I didnt took that too harsh. I need game ready drivers and so on for my youtube job aswel, especially ShadowPlay. So yeah, when I think little bit more I shouldnt even ask this. No irony or anything like that.
