Sorry this is a long one:
My machine is shutting off when I try and do a windows experience index right around the Direct 10 test. And also during a game sometimes.The only game its happened so far with is "New car game: Wreckfest"
I ended up doing a fresh install ( It also was happening before the re-install )of windows because I got these new parts-
AMD FX-8350 With corsair h100i
8gb Kingston Beast DDR3
Gigabyte AM3+ AMD GA-970
2TB seagate Barracuda
Older parts from around 2009-
A 640 WD Caviar
A 1TB WD Caviar
750w PSU Coolmax
GTX 580
I do not have another PSU to try as I've heard that could be it, with new parts. I Have done a rough estimate( from the online power supply calculator ) of the parts that I have all hooked up and it came out to be around 520W that is needed but I have a 750W PSU.
Then recently, I had It on for 2-3 hours last night playing another game Monitoring Temps and everything, Worked fine. I was running a game, Installing games from steam, Running backup recovery software scanning one of my old drives and talking on Teamspeak. The machine did not shut off.
Left the machine running over night to finish the Drive scan and download steam games and woke up and the computer was off and would not turn on until I turned off the PSU switch on the back and turned it back on again.
