I have 500 dollars for a gpu and cpu. But I that's all I have. So I need the price to be below 500 before mail in rebates or anything like that.

If you have a 550-600w PSU then the GTX 970 for $340 would be perfect, along with an i5 4590 for around $180 would be the ideal choice.

If you could state you PSU and motherboard, that would help out a lot.

If you still wanted the 970 (which is an amazing card) Go for a cheapo G3258.. only deal is it's not really future proof and only dual core.

Also could go for non K version if you aren't bothered about OC'ing. Are you not getting a bigger/extra hard drive? Just saw the 128gb SSD. You'd run out of space realllllyy quick.

I edited my list to include everything I actually had. I don't really plan on over clocking as I know nothing about it. This is my first time building a pc. Trying to keep it simple if I can.
