Can I use GTX 960 on my intel core 2 duo e8400

Specs: Processor- intel core 2 duo e8400 3.03 ghz
Ram - 8gb dd2
OS - win7 64bit
Old vcard - HD7790

Solution
Yep, you would still have some boost, but even if you OC your cpu, it would still bottleneck 960 in some cpu dependant games, that would make them unplayable(like Watch_Dogs).

It's better to change CPU first, at least on cheapest Haswell i3.

anyway you guys need to know that his ram is DDR2, im afraid that he also need to change motherboard etc. My suggestion is save your money and used it on another day to buy a computer. You can get like kinda good one to play on medium for like 600 bucks / 700 bucks.
