one of my old builds (dating back almost two years) is still causing issues when i try and log in to google chrome with my main work account but my personal account is blank so it doesn't cause this issue sadly its making life extremely hard I've been through everything i can get my hands on and i know as of 2 months ago its a server side issue (it gets half way through restoring apps then corrupts data and the entire install is goes out the window). i personally see no way to sort this issue out or a way to directly contact google and have them some how reset all data relating to google chrome?. does anyone have a similar issue? any answer to the problem

I had a similar problem where a piece of malware had gotten backed up to a friend's Google Chrome Sync, and was auto-infecting any new installation (e.g. wipe and reinstall to get rid of the malware, only for it to come back on sync).

Completely uninstall and reinstall Chrome. Then, before you login to Chrome for the first time, disable sync of the item you think is causing the corruption. Chrome -> Settings -> Advanced Sync Settings. If you're unsure which item is causing the corruption, you'll have to figure it out through the process of elimination. If you're OK with losing all your sync'ed data, you can just disable everything, no need to find the culprit.

Now, login to Chrome.

Next, delete the sync'ed data from Google's...
