Ok, so I bought 2 of these Corsair fans the other day, (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Series-AF120-LED-Edition-Airflow/dp/B00F6S0XJO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422895645&sr=8-2&keywords=corsair+fans) as they are very similar to the one that came pre-installed in the case (Corsair Spec-01). However, upon installing the fans, I realised that I could not control the speed of the fan, and they are running at full speed, which is loud. I wouldn't be bothered if the computer wasn't in my bedroom, but it is. I was looking for a fan controller, but they are all more expensive than I want to pay. I seen this controller (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Computer-CPU-Cooling-Speed-Controller/dp/B007PODS0I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422896039&sr=8-1&keywords=pci+fan+controller) which is very cheap, but I don't know how it works or if it will even work. I've seen the mod you can do by connecting it to the power supply, but I don't really have time for that. I'd also usually spend a lot of time researching what one is the best and so on, but I really don't have the time at the minute. If anyone was to be so kind and to tell me if that fan controller will even do anything, it would be much appreciated. I'm using 3 fans in my case, but one runs at a good speed, so the two fans that I bought would need to be controlled. I'm sorry that the format of this is very linear, and unattractive, but as I said, I don't really have the time. Thanks for any feedback given.
