Hi Guys,

I have a mobo ASRock Model H61M-VG3 BIOS P.90.

The system worked 2-3days ago, however yesterday I have decided to do bit of preventive cleaning and maintenance, and after I reconnected all the cables, it's not recognizing any input from the Keyboard at all, so it would boot into Windows ,but the Num, caps and scroll lock wouldn't work at all.

What's also strange is that on the POST the Numlock LED WOULD light up then it go sort of go off, because after that if you look at the actual LED you could see a faded blinking LED on the keyboard, what's strange is that my system does receive voltage because I can plug my phone and it would charge it fine.

I have reseated all the cables and everything, even cleared the CMOS battery and the Jumper as well, PSU cables has been reseated PS2 plug has been checked for bent pins and everything is in good condition, Also tried with a USB keyboard and it's the same, so it seems that it's not providing proper voltage to any of the ports.

Any ideas?

Thanks in Advanced!

Solution
you have to recheck all wiring hope you did not play with cmos reset power on and if you could try another psu ,also this board have onboard video what you have on the monitor with it .

I tried switching the RAM into the other slot, since this mobo only has 2 slots, I've reseated all the PSU cables and the small 4pin PSU cable that provides power to the back ports(?).

I have my monitor which is an old HP 15" monitor plugged into the Discreet VC.

Also, yes I have resetted/cleared the CMOS battery, I don't have another PSU, I've tried also plugging Monitor into the Onboard and it's the same, the numlock turns on then you could seed a faded LED on the bottom of it.

I rechecked all the wiring before even clearing my CMOS through battery or jumper, and it's the same!
