I tried but i can't the pins are like inside the plastic i cant get them to lift a bit up, but how could this be the problem? my mouse isn't any older then 6 months or so.
Btw the usb from my mouse is goldplated, i dont know if this is anything usefull but i guess i'd say it anyway.
did you try it on another usb port also do you have something else you could use like a mp3 player to plug in the usb port to see if it have power or data from it .
