What are you trying to do. Once you've installed the drivers you shouldn't need to do much of anything in the configuration software. I wouldn't even use their software. Just use the windows configuration tools. I'd uninstall the application that came with it after disconnecting the device, then reconnect the device, go to control panel, device manager, find the device that will either have a symbol next to it or might already be configured, right click, select update drivers and allow windows to install the drivers.
