Yes they would go great together, however I think you would be wasting your money on buying an APU. You would be better off with an AM3 board and an fx series cpu. Unless you want to save money and get the AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad-Core. That will work with the FM2 board you are looking at and does not wast power or money with an apu built in to the cpu. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113379&cm_re=fm2_cpu_cache_athlon-_-19-113-379-_-Product. Get at least a 550W 80+ power supply also.
