Toshiba Hard Drive Logic Board Scratch

I have a scratch or burn ( The mark is brown) on my Logic board of my Toshiba Hard Drive and now whenever I plug it in it makes a clicking sound and doesn't get picked up by Windows. The scratch goes on top of some gold pins and traces on the board. If I use a conductive pen on top of the damaged pins and traces can I fix the problem? All answers appreciated!
