So I want to jump into PC gaming (finally) but I'm totally clueless. I spent hours & hours the past few weeks looking into all the general PC components but my brain isn't processing the information yet. So I've come here hoping to gain some knowledge from experts. All & any advice is appreciated.

So heres the deal: I'm willing to spend about $350-$365 on a decent build. What can I do within that price range? I've looked at some pre-builds on ebay but I've heard a million times that your best bet is always building yourself.

Here is one that caught my eye on ebay for $365.
"PROCESSOR: AMD A8-5600K Trinity 3.6GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Quad-Core Socket FM2 Accelerated Processor Unit (CPU+GPU) w/4MB L2 Cache.
MOTHERBOARD: Asus A78M-E FM2+/FM2 ATX AMD Motherboard.
VIDEO: AMD Radeon 7560D On-board GPU.
MEMORY: 8GB (2x4gb) GSkill Ripjaws X High Performance DDR3 1600 RAM w/Aluminum Heat Shields.
HARD DRIVE: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache.
CASE: Ultra XBlaster Pro Mid-Tower Case w/1x120mm fan.
POWER SUPPLY: EVGA 80 Plus Certified 430w PSU w/1x120mm fan and all cables wrapped in black sleeves.
ALSO INCLUDED: Motherboard Driver disk and power cord."

What kind of performance would this machine provide & is its price justified? Thanks

here is something that will work really good for 370$
much better than the APU route and the more expensive 860k route too posted above, it will run games just as good or better than XO and Ps4

for 30$ more you can get this build which is very good for gaming

overclock the g3258 to 4-4.2ghz on the stock cooler and be amazed at how good this is at gaming for only 370$, this machine will play all games at medium to High settings at 40-60FPS, no problem, older games like Skyrim will run at ultra easily.

I could do that, can you explain the differential. Like provide some examples in comparison.

the 7560d integrated gpu would not even touch a r7 250x gddr5 dedicated gpu. example if you play farcry 4 even at very low settings and very low resolution the 7560d would have a hard time running it, while a r7 250x would run it at high settings 720p smoothly.

for the processing power the a8 and the 860k are pretty much the same if you overclock them to the same frequency.
