Im running an AMD Radeon HD 7560D integrated graphics capable of up to 2560x1600 resolution and a Samsung Syncmaster 305t monitor capable of the same resolution but all i get is color flashing like it doesn't recognize the input. Also im running AMD Catalyst 14.12 along with a DVI-D (dual-link) cable. So the question is how can i get the resolution up to 2560x1600?

You may be using the the wrong type of DVI cable for your graphics card/monitor input combination:
