Recently I built a new pc with this mobo:

What is that two audio switches. ... The manual says that "the switches allow to gain controls of your headphone. But make sure that the two switches are set in same position and according to your headphone Specifications. "
default state is 2.5X and if we enable it it have 6X as show in picture. . I have zebronics iron Head 7.1 surround gaming headset(Indian manufacturer)

What will happen if I set that switches to 6X? For what purpose they are used? Can they increase my gaming experience? Pls help. ...
