I'm doing a series of visual improvements to my computer, and I've decided that I want to paint my motherboard in a black color to add the cherry on top.
I am aware of the dangers painting a mobo represents, so that's why I've come here; to ask you guys for advice on what I should and shouldn't cover with paint. I haven't done this before, but I definitely know that all connectors need to be covered with tape to protect them from the paint.

The motherboard is an AsRock Z87 Extreme4, and I'll be using a can of matte black Plastidip to paint it with. It's non-conductive, and I'll apply a thin coat of it.

I will appreciate any input you guys can give me, but please don't try and talk me out of it!

I found one where he paints over the connectors, leaving the rest of the mobo un-painted. However I am trying to achieve the exact opposite of this, by not touching the connectors, but painting over the exposed motherboard circuit.
