I was prompted "CMOS no date.." PressF1 , F2.. but I have not the BIOS password.
So, I have replaced CMOS battery on Asus X51L Notebook and at start the display remains black. It also give a "Beep"
All devices seems working (Optical unit, Wireless, mouse) but I can't enter BIOS. etc.
I have the CD with drivers from Asus but I don't know how to create a bootable Bios USB flash drive.
Somme help ?

I have checked if it works without RAM, HDD, Graphic card.
After reinstaling RAM apears a Beep wich remains the same after inserting HDD, Graphic card etc.
The display remains black
Also, the "Zz" LED is all time ON

May I have to let the notebook without battery more time and trying to enter BIOS after 2 -3 days?

The screen remains black do to a connector betwen Display and Laptop.
But, after replacing CMOS battery, it still prompt "CMOS Date/time? not set" Press F1 and PASSWORD !!!!
Also, can't install Win XP- the instalation CD not find the HDD.
But I can instal Win 7 Ultimate but with problems- The laptop don't keep my date an time ( it's set to 2008...0 and can't connect to Internet.
The solution must be entering to BIOS but what to do with the password?

80% solved !
I have saveD and refreshed BIOS with AFLASH2 and the original BIOS file.
Still I have password frontiere.
For fixing Internet and Win 7 problems, just "Adjust date and time" => succesfully updated Windows and Internet explorer.
problems remaining:
1- I must keep laptop with Windows logged on to keep date and time or, tomorow, at start, "Adjust date and time"

2- retrieving the password. Tomorow I'll try with serial number and the model of machine

Seems like only Asus support can help me. I've sended copy of the bill, of ID card and the S/n and BIOS date to retrieving the password.
Supervisors can consider this solved !
