Bandwith, download, upload?? How to know if an isp with its package have low ping for playing online games with friends(dota,cs go party) in the same house??? (because sometimes my friends come over)
Cause it's unusual for an isp to mention their ping, latency.while ppl simultaneously using it???

Will high upload means low latency??
Help im very confused??
Should i just get the biggest bandwidth available?? i dont know if they got low ping for party gamers.
No indication at all in their advertising

There is no way to predict how well wireless will work. The router is only part of the issue you would have to look at all the nic cards to really figure this out.

The ISP router and wired cables is much more likely to give you a solid predictable gaming experience. When you start to bring "messy cables" into the decision process that is all up to you. Some people like certain color cables but none of that truly matters when you asking which will technically work better.

Besides is a cheap thing to try you can always buy a new router later if the cables prove to be too much a issue.
That is because they really have no way to influence the latency. It is related to the distance between you and the server. It also shows congestion in the network but many times they have no control because it may be in another ISP or connections between ISP.

Games in general use very little bandwidth and as long as they get what they need the ping times will stay constant. So say you have a game that wants 500k/sec and you have a 5m internet connection. You could run 10 copies of the game and it would be fine but as soon as you tried to run the 11 you would degrade all of them and the ping times would increase.

So as long as you have enough bandwidth it will have no impact on the latency. In a way it is kinda crazy to think that 2 people playing a game in the same room would have to send their traffic to a server maybe in a different country but that is how many games work.

Whatever you do make sure everyone is playing on a wired connection. Although games do not need much bandwidth they pretty much want it on a constant basis this means they do not share wireless well. It only takes a very small number of game clients to kill even a huge wireless connection just because of how poorly wireless controls bandwidth allocations.

A 10MB connection is plenty for several people to game at the same time, as long s you don't do anything else like streaming movies or downloading.

As above, the thing you want is a low ping to the servers and best to use a wired connection.

A good router is also good to have it it will process information faster and will alow for more connections with no speed change.

So the conclusion is that, i just have to pick a high bandwidth(10mbps) package from a good isp. Now they will rent their wireless router for me.
Which leads to the
Second QUESTION

Should i stick with isp's wireless router(cisco i think)??

Or buy a $60-100 wireless router?
Or a modem wireless router(2in1)???
Will it at least have the same network performance of ethernet cablew??

Or for the last resort I'll just buy a couple of ethernet cable, maybe some wired extender, splitter??
Kinda messy
But would it offer much advantage to a wireless router?

Wired is always better if you can run cables to where the computers are. If not, a modem from the ISP and your own router is often the best pick as you can chose a router based on what you want. This router is on the high side of what you want to spend but it has the latest AC wireless spec and has excellent reviews on Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G2HZ3833

So I'm better off, buying couple of cheap ethernet cables rather than buying a $100 wireless router to play some dota 2,cs go with couple of my friends(4)?,

since wired will always be better?? It's a very good cheap idea. One thing that keeps me back is the messiness of the cables.

I will ask again just to be sure,
If 5 people playing online games party(dota 2,cs go,), on the $100 wireless router, will they suffer high ping??? Will it be enough???

With the condition no else is using the Internet, and no is doing anything(browsing, streaming downloading) aside of playing games.

And if the answer Is No
I won't buy an expensive wireless router, stick my isp's wireless router.
Buy some ethernet cables. And then i will finish this thread.

PLS ANSWER MY CONFUSION
