Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 fan control

Here is my problem

Over the weekend i upgraded from a AMD FX-8350 and Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard to a Intel i7 4790K and Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 motherboard and I use to be able to control all my stock Corsair Air 540 case fans with the Gigabyte board using Corsair Link BUT now every since i installed the new board the fans only stay on super low, the only fans I can still change normally are the fans for my Corsair H100i liquid cooler

My question is why? do I need to plug the fans in certain spots on the board? am I gonna need a fan controller?

Im a person who likes to keep all my fans on mid to high range, helps me sleep at night :)

So i tried that and the fans started working alil faster but not like they used to before I installed this board, maybe ill just go out and purchase a fan controller, any suggestions on which one I should consider?

I dont wanna run them at max speeds all the time, just when gaming, but I just cant seem to get this on board fan control to work
