I have a GTX 680 and was wondering would a Cooler Master GX-Lite 700W be compatible and provide enough power?

True that... but since it's a 700W, I'd like to think it is ok for providing 500W peaks... so as long as you dont demand full 700W (no dual GPU setups) and/or do any Overclock, I think you should be fine.
