Does my motherboard support AM3+ CPUs?

What is your current cpu on the motherboard? After further research, you won't be able to use an 8350 on it. Gigabyte never put out a bios update for it to support it, and even if you did, if you wanted to overclock or anything, I doubt you would be able too.

also if you are going to get the fx8350 just know that you need a board with good VRM heatsinks. Im suffering from high socket temperatures with my M5a97 r2.0 board
