Hi there I'm looking forward to building my first pc. Here are the components that I chose:
CPU: i5 4590
Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 (mini because its cheaper)
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury red, DDR3-1866
GPU: MSI or ASUS R9 280 3GB
HDD: 1TB WD blue
PSU:Corsair VS550 2014 - 550W CP-9020097-EU ANTEC ATX 550W VPF550 80Bronze
Case: NZXT SOURCE 340

Is this a good build and is there any cheaper or same price solution for around 800€ ?

OK it looks better but do you know anything about the case? Does it have good cable management ? I was also looking at the ANTEC GX300 case.

Now this is a build Im going myself with really soon (With some still to be modified):

http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/HDzmBm

The motherboard is a good one, Im still debating myself if I want an overclockable CPU now or later. For now I've left it with the non overclockable Intel processor. 1 x 8 gb for me because Im planning to add another 8 gb ram stick later on. The Super flower is a very future proof processor in case I decide to add another GTX 960 but that's just in case.

The selected GTX 960 will actually beat the R9 280 in most games, so really consider it. I think for 800 euros this is a set with great future proof components and the graphics card is plenty, quite underrated by many.

The case also is quite world class.

Thanks ! ...oh and do I really need a 600W PSU ? Here (http://coolermaster.outervision.com/PSUEngine2) It says that 450W is recommended as minimum that's why I would with a 550W PSU
