So ive upgraded my CPU and GPU with 8370e and msi 970 gtx. The problem is when installed i get nothing but a black screen, dont even get to bios. All fans on chassis, CPU and GPU were on. The only thing not powered was mouse and keyboard. Ive put my old CPU in and tried with new GPU and it worked fine. I then installed the lastest BIOS to 2.00 then replaced CPU to the new 1 but again black screen. I no longer have the speaker accessory to try for beeps.
I am sure all is compatible but cant think of anything else that is causing the problem.
Current system before upgrades is as follows:
Asrock 970 pro3
phenom ii x4 975 BE
amd sapphire vapor x 7950
G skill 8 gb ram
650w Power supply.
Would appreciate any help i can get.
