Best way to install SSD please

Hi so I bought a Samsung 850 pro SSD 256gb and obviously I want to use it just for windows and maybe 1 or 2 games.

whats the best way to do this? I don't have one of those USB cables to connect the SSD to the USB to copy windows that way like it shows in the user manual.

is it possible to put a clean install on the SSD and remove the old windows installation from my old HDD without removing anything else from my HDD as I has 700GB of games pics etc

If you do a clean install -- a good idea, BTW, you will still have to reinstall all the games and applications because the new (on the SSD) Windows registry won't have any record of them.

If you can, save your pics and other files you can't replace to a USB thumb drive, or burn to DVD, then format your old HDD completely.

You'll need to reinstall your games to your new SSD in any case. Just be sure to keep saved game files, depending on the games.
