Are these power supplies compatible with first gen intel chipset?

I have an intel core i3 540 (LGA 1156 chipset) and i notice on these power supplies it says something like "3rd gen intel support" "intel haswell compatible" . So will these work with my chipset?

The "intel compatible" label is just marketing . Means nothing

But you need a psu powerful enough for the processor and motherboard

Actually, it's not just marketing. Some PSUs can't deliver low enough power to handle Haswell's sleep states.
