i have a msi 760gm p34 (fx) motherboard and i have heard from many sources that if you update your bios it will help improve your game performance i currently use for a cpu a AMD FX-6300 6 core overclocked to 4.6MHz and in Counter strike global offensive and i get a fps max of 30 and i have done allot of research and i should be getting 4 times that and i would like to know how to upgrade the bios please help A.S.A.P.

You are going to burn the house down. Quit while you are ahead.

^^that board lacks the thermal handling to overclock that CPU. Your mosfets are going to end up as a smoking ooze in the bottom of your case.

thank you but i have been overclocked for about a week now and all the stability tests says it is running fine and it is not getting over 50 degrees Celsius does that still mean i should stop overclocking

Keep an eye on your VRM temps. If they get so hot as to burn your finger then you need to dial it back a bit. You can also add small heatsinks and point a fan at them. Your motherboard's VRMs are very likely to fail and burn up before you reach your CPU and cooling limits.
