I am looking to build myself a new pc. I will be using it mainly for gaming on 1080p. I want to use the bitfenix prodigy as my case (so mITX motherboard)
I have 2 choices to go for right now
Choice 1:
i5 4690k 230 euro
Amd r9 290 260 euro
MSI Z97I GAMING AC 130 euro
Choice 2:
i5 4460 180 euro
GTX 970 360 euro
ASRock B85M-ITX 75 euro
My main question is if a more advanced i5 with a more expensive motherboard will really make difference in day to day performence. I don't think i will be overclocking but having the option is always nice for in the future.
Btw my preferred choice of GPU is obviously the GTX 970 but i dont know if I really need it for 1080p and it will only fit my budget in the configuration as stated above.
