I just received my Kraken x61 AiO Liquid Cooler and my Intel i7 CPU. I was watching Linus's video about installing thermal compounds and he mentioned that we need to clean the CPU and cooler with Isopropyl alcohol (99%). Now he applied that to clean a CPU that already had a cooler installed and wanted to renew the thermal paste. In my case, the CPU and the cooler is brand new. Do I need to clean the brand new CPU with Isopropyl alcohol before applying the cooler to it?
