GPU tweak? Do you mean the latest driver? If so, sometimes that causes an issue with an install going improperly because of something running in the background that messed with it. That's what happens most of them time to cause a driver install to go bad.

Next time can you just post a brief list of specs and your current driver version? We don't need the whole dxdiag. :)

Have you tried manually forcing the card to run at 100% fan speed with MSI afterburner to see if it does it still? 50°C is well under the GPUs thermal limit so it shouldn't be doing this.

Also what game(s) does this occur in?

sorry im new to this :/ , yeah i forced the fan to 100% and the temp stayed same i have now restored my system to earlier on today and it seems fine now the only thing i installed in that time was the latest gpu tweak could that be the cause of the problem?
it has pretty much happened in every game these include diablo 3, fifa 15, battlefield 4 etc..

Oddly enough, I've found running games in the background while installing drivers (yes I've done this before) might just mess with the install. Other things that I suspect to mess with them are browsers (specifically flash or other video players that use the GPUs onboard H.264 decoder), installing other programs at the same time (you know during a fresh windows install and stuff), having a disk defragment session running, and the usual antivirus (I actually haven't used any antivirus software in years because I've found them to be useless to me as I have extremely safe browsing habits in the first place).

Just try to keep whatever drivers you're installing at the time the only process that's running besides the usual windows one. You might have to go mess around somewhere else besides on your computer, but it sure has saved me a lot of headaches like this once I started making it a usual practice.
