PLZ tell me which is better I want to get the Kraken but my mother said that Tiamat is better...
Please tell me.....

Solution
The tiamat is way better, the tiamat really has 10 speakers built in for true 7.1 audio. The kraken uses software emulated 7.1 which is still nice, but in another way.

I'm personally contemplating on going for some super expensive headphones like sennheiser HD 700's and maybe a desk mic but for you I'd recommend something like the Audio Technica ATH M50 X's and a modmic or V-Moda mic.

Another suggestion would be the same cans with a fairly good desktop mic (Blue Snowball or something in that price range)

Personally I would avoid the Tiamat's. I picked up a set a few months ago and was completely underwhelmed. I'm no audiophile but the sound quality was just terrible and the bass almost non-existent. Trying to fit 10 speakers in such a small space really does compromise on quality.

There are cheaper and better alternatives. Or if you are looking to spend around that price and wouldn't mind going wireless I would recommend the Sound Blaster Recon3D Omega. I replaced the Tiamat's with those and I'm loving them!

Audio Technica's are good, I have a pair of M50's , HD 700 good but you need to get a fancy DAC/AMP to power properly.
I personally like the HD800 much better than the HD 700's after trying both...

you tried the 800's, wow!

I'm personally going to buy the 700's next month with an AMP and a Audio Technica AT 2020 mic. Driven by a Soundblaster ZXR

I tried the HD 800 many times, I listened to HD Music and played Bioshock infinite. The HD 800's are great for music and gaming because of the huge sound stage. In my opinion you need to spend at least 500 on a DAC/AMP to drive the headphones, my favorite budget DAC/AMP that I tried is ALO audio's PAN AM...

As you suggested earlier I think the best headphones for the money are the M50's because they sound good and are easy to drive...

The HD 700's are good headphones if you have the right DAC/AMP however I like the HD 800's and think they are worth the extra money.
I suggest you try both before you buy the HD 700's. The HD 800's also fit my head better...
