ASUS H81 M , Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz Geforce GTX 750ti

any advice,

i was going to upgrade my pc and i wanted to start from the most important components

the motherboard and CPU
im on a tight budget.

so i been researching some of the tech recently i found this two
motherboard - ASUS H81 M
i like this one because its on my budget and its support LGA 1150 , and i could upgrade the processor in future times, and its a lil cheap.

CPU - Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz

this was hard, this was the only thing that stuck to my budget.

so i wanted to ask you guys. did i made the right decision? or im doing the right decision.
im still schooling and gonna graduate college this march.

im a gamer so you know,

i hope i get advices from all the tech lovers here in tom's hardware

i have an old pc maybe 3 years, it has an AMD ATHLON PROCESSOR (i dont know about the model cause im new to this) but i have been researching.,i also dont know what type of motherboard it has cause my pc its not with me. if i went AMD i would get AMD fx6300 but its hard to find it here (philippines) and i dont want to buy it from a site... i wanted to change to an intel cause its easy to find.

any advice

Dude the system you are proposing is not a beast of one but it would certainly get the job done! The GPU will help alot also!! But dude just to get that little extra kick look if you could maybe work up to the G3250 rather than the G3220, the price diff is so close it`s stupid not to go for it...

G3250 is 6% better in performance
And has greater frequency
it should overclock better too!

It's locked cpu, that means that you can't overclock it.

You know what`s crazy... I have a friend with a i3 2100 and a special Gainward 3gb GTX 580 and he is running... No jokes, I`ve seen this and I`ve done this, Crysis 3 on high(some very high) and in 3d 1080p...

Really... I still believe that it had to be a dream, but I went there the next day and it was true, It does`nt make sense does it??

With that gpu yo don't need i5, i3 will be fine.
