Why is my upload faster than my dl speed, how can I fix it?

I am using a standard ethernet cable to my router on my (new-ish) computer, and I just took a speed test and my upload speed was way higher than my download speed.

I've heard that disabling WMM QoS in your router settings will fix this, but wont it make the new run slower?

Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

My internet provider gives me 8mbps download and 4mbps upload

Great, just found ut. I can't access the router
Password and Login should be : Admin or admin as login and password as password

Unless you've changed the password it should be that. I'm afraid I can't really help you with this as it's against the forum rules but you may want to try any password that you MAY have changed it to.
