Backgrounds are all white

I can see the lines, such as the ones above and below posts, and I can see the text. I can see the buttons with text but they're white. The entire background is white. The images (?) in front of "Forum", "Windows 7", etc are black squares. The "Share" button shows text but is white with a black square in front of the word "Share". All backgrounds are white. On Face Book all backgrounds are white. Win Desktop is normal. Menus have proper grey background. In stand alone programs such as Rhapsody the background is white even on the music guide page.
 


Set all that to defaults, and also check for any newer drivers for your video card. The settings I am talking about are for users with disabilities like poor eyesight to help them read things. High contrast settings make things look similar to what you described although it's tough to know for sure without seeing the system.
