TENTATIVE PC BUILD: (I plan on overclocking it fully but not for a long time, maybe in a year and a half) Will be used mostly for gaming: Skyrim, Guild wars 2, RPG's with intense graphics mostly.

CPU Intel Core i5-4690K
MOBO Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming GT (I keep reading that I should not trust MSI and should go with ASUS Sabertooth z97, problem with the ASUS is it leaves little room for any future upgrades.)
GPU Gigabyte GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 256bit
FAN CM Hyper 212 EVO
RAM Any 8gig CL9 1600mhz ( any recommendation? is a single 8 gig better than a 4gigX2?)
SSD Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal SSD (should I get a samsung 850 evo or is this SSD good?)
HDD Western Digital Black 1TB
CASE NZXT H440 (Razer Edition)
PSU Seasonic M12II-850
MONITOR ASUS VG248QE or ASUS MX239H (depends on the availability in my area) please tell me more about ASUS MX239H. is it a good choice? It is the one in my price range and the one available.

Any input would be appreciated :)

Looks fine to me! Just make sure the RAM you buy is on the MSI motherboard QVL list for memory just to guarantee no issues. In my experience with MSI in the past, it's a gamble putting memory in one of their motherboards not on their QVL memory list. I have yet to come across that problem with ASUS. (Again, that's only my experience). Now regarding your cooler, if you do plan on moderately to aggressively overclocking that 4690K (see my sig), I'd recommend getting a more robust air cooler. Otherwise, for a mild turbo overclock (4.3GHz and below) you should be fine with the 212 EVO. Good luck!

Like 10tacle said, if you're looking to push your CPU overclock to it's limits a better CPU cooler will be needed such as the NH-D14 or NH-D15. As for your RAM check out G.Skill, I find their RAM is good quality and reasonably priced. Are you planning on a future SLI setup? If so then your PSU choice makes sense, if not and only plan on running the single GPU then that PSU is overkill and would be fine with a +/-600W gold rated PSU.

Your build is very similar to one I just ordered. Definitely a thumbs up!

I agree on G. Skill memory. It's all I've ever used in my builds and never experienced an issue with my Gigabyte or ASRock boards.

Thank you for pointing out the PSU, i am planning on a future SLI set-up in about 2 years from now if my rig can not handle the new games anymore. Do you think that I should stick with the Seasonic M12II-850 or should i downgrade? Do you have a suggestion for a good +/-600W gold rated PSU? Should I get a single 8g G.skill or x2 4g? I am planning to get 1 8g for now and if I have the funds get another 8g to max it out.

Always buy memory in pairs for dual channel support. The difference would only be noticeable in benchmarks, but unless there's a huge difference in price, go with the 2X4 config.

850W is more than enough for 970 in SLI. If its a good deal and/or on sale, get it. If notyou should be good with any quality PSU 620+.

Thank you for the added input. 1 more thing I forgot. what VA and WATT should I get for my UPS? Any recommendation on the UPS or AVR?
