Hello. I have never built a PC or have any knowledge about it, so please keep that in mind when you answer this.

I want a PC that can run WoW: Warlords of Draenor on Ultra. It would be great if it could run silently as well. I don't really have a budget, but i am hoping to not spend more than a thousand dollars...but if i need more for ultra just say so.

I am also hoping for a PC building guide...i'm still nervous about this...i don't know what to do if i break something or don't figure out how to put the parts together. I live in a town with no one to help me :( And all the parts and stuff sounds so hard, i do not even know what i am looking at.

EDIT: I will be raiding, so i want it to be able to handle multiple people casting flashy skills etc

A $1000 budget can help reach WoW: Warlords of Draenor on Ultra all right. This is a strong gaming build mate:

you should be able to do a build that can do ultra for around that price range. i am going to recommend to get the Fractal design Define r5 for a case. stay away from the cooler master seidon seires of water cooler because they are loud. also stay away from Zotac GPUs cause they are also loud

WoW is more CPU dependent than GPU but with WoD, it is slowly starting to change and with a better GPU, it yields better FPS. I play more than WoW on my gaming rig which you can see in my sig. You build a system like mine just for WoW, that would be considered MAJOR overkill.

Building a system is very easy and there is a lot of videos out there that teach you how to do it like this:

As for video cards? Depends on how much you want to spend. If price is no object, overkill 980 or 970. I mention those 2 cards because they are based on the Maxwell architecture and these cards tend to run a lot more quiet and produce less heat. If you want the best bang for your buck, AMD 280, 290, 290X. These cards tend to run a bit hotter but do the job just as well.
