Possible compatibility issue CPU-MOBO.

I need some help. I want to know if a MSi H81-P33 motherboard supports a Pentium G3258 3.2 GHz, without any problems, on BIOS version 1.0.

Looks like it needs v1.5.

Needs to be BIOS 1.5 according to the site.

So my PC basically wont start if I put in the CPU ? Is there any way to update the BIOS?

you would need to use a CPU supported by your bios to start the OC & update it.

What the hell am i gonna do...? I havent got another 1150 CPU, and im not even sure if the P33 that i ordered has BIOS v.1.5

Well as hopefully where you ordered it from sells a lot& it has the latest bios, or you can return it, or somehow obtain/beg/borrw a processor that works.

There's still a chance it will have the right BIOS or sometimes they do post then you can update.

Guys, I stumbled upon a comment from where I purchased the mobo and it says that the mobos bios comes updated to the latest version. Also can you explain this:http://processormatch.intel.com/MotherBoards/CompatibleBoards

Yo guys dont worry about it. I installed the MOBO and everything and its working perfectly. I received my p33 with BIOS v1.7, thats amazing! THX again.
