So I was having a problem with my screen randomly flickering, eventually found that updating the vbios could fix the problem so I went ahead an did that using this guide http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2288384/upgrade-gpu-bios.html.

Everything worked fine, then it prompted me to restart, which I did. Restart began, screen went black but stayed black for several minutes. After a while I forced it off with the power button but everytime it turns back on I just stay at a black screen with my monitor not picking any signal up.

I already tried unplugging everything from the mobo and taking everything off the pcu then putting it all back together but nothing changed. I also tried booting with my gpu in a different slot but that didn't work. Currently I'm trying to reset my cmos to see if that works but incase it doesn't can anyone help me with how to fix this problem?

(Also everything has power, the fans all turn on, power light turns on, my keyboard stays lit caps, num lock and scroll lock, mouse stays lit as well as headset)

Solution
I would remove the 270x from the pc first and see if you can boot from the onboard graphics, if that works you will need to go into the bios and force the pc to boot from the onboard first, other wise you will still run into the same problem you have now.
If that doesn't work you will need to reset cmos then go back into the bios and force the pc to boot from the onboard, after this you can re-install the 270x and boot into windows.
Confirm that windows can still detect the 270x in device manager.

I suggest following this tutorial:

They also show you the command you need to change for multi graphics cards.

Sounds to me like the flash either failed or you flashed with an incompatible bios.

You are either going to have to boot from onboard graphics and reflash the bios or use the 270x as a secondary graphics card in another system and reflash that way.

So how can I boot from my onboard graphics? When I start up my screen is black, I would assume I have to open my mobo bios to change the graphics it boots with? So in my case spam f11 till i get there? Or how do I do it

I tried a couple times to reset the cmos but nothing changed and my motherboard doesn't come with on board graphics so i guess I'll have to buy a cheap card and use that? Also, i noticed that I power up, nothing happens and I turn the pc off but the lights for my mouse and keyboard stay lit unless I turn the switch off on the pcu.... What the fuck have I done or is that normal I guess

You don't have family or a friend that has a spare graphics card? Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something that can boot into windows.

The lights on the keyboard/mouse could just be a weird power issue since the pc isn't booting/POSTing properly.
I've seen this happen even on pc's that are working perfectly fine if you power off before it can finishing POSTing.

Good to know the lights and all that is normal, was kinda worried I messed something up while I was refitting everything.

Sadly I'm living in a different city than where im from because of school atm so i don't really know anyone here that I could use a card. I'll probably just get one from Amazon for cheap since I do still have to fix the screen flicker issue (assuming i still have it after fixing the brick) and it'd be nice to have the spare card here incase I fuck up and get my gpu bricked again while trying to fix the screen flicker issue.

Would this card work fine for just booting up so I can undo the flash? Just wanna make sure I get a card that will do the job
