Solution digitaldoc Feb 4, 2015 I would wait for Skylake. It is most likely less than a year away, and should offer better performance. it will be 14 nm, and a "tock." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylake_%28microarchitecture%29 I am waiting for Skylake personally, but at least wait for desktop Broadwell that is looking likely and should be here 2nd quarter of 2015.
