I want to get the PS Vita so I can play those old games again like Rachet And Clank and many more. Is it worth it to get the PS Vita. What are your opinions on it?

The Vita is awesome and I use it way more than my 3DS (which has been collecting dust for over a year now). But I find it hard to recommend a Vita to anyone unless they like RPGs or have a PS4 for remote play. There are plenty of good games on Vita, in spite of what people say, most of them are downloadable though. The digital library destroys the 3DS library and it's physical library, while not as impressive looking, is at least not padded out with pet and Barbie games.
If you like PSOne, PSP, JRPGs, (Final Fantasy especially) and Indie games then you will love the Vita.

Have a look at the PS TV, its basically a new PS Vita but its not portable and needs a display (that may be a problem). I say go with getting a Vita but your going to have a hard time selling it like PsyKhiqZero said.
