Problem -

Edit-- Should mention I've done a tad of looking around and supposedly lightboost (120hz) with 10% brightness (strobe) is the fastest response time, so I'm running on that.

So I recently won a small tournament and won a Asus 144hz monitor. It's hooked up and works great, but I had to use a third party application to activate the lightboost for optimal reaction time (I play alot of FPS, csgo mainly). And while it works fine, my other display likes to zoom into and enlarge everything.

I couldn't figure out how to FIX it but a temporary fix is to go to my video cards properties (screenres----> Advanced ---- > Properties) and so much as SWITCH to the details tab. Upon doing that it fixes itself, and stays that way for some odd amount of time (variable).

But eventually (normally when im in game itseems, may just be coincidence) it will black out both screens and the left monitor (my old one) will zoom in again. Everything else works fine, its just bothersome and can cause me to have to restart my pc or lose games if it throws that issue in the wrong portion of loading a game/map.

Question -

I'm saving money to upgrade my graphics card, I'm a gamer and do alot of 720p streaming (my current card, a gtx 670 wont handle 1080p I don't think) Should I save up and get a 770 or a 970? Or what card would you recommend? Nothing is broken so I have the luxury of saving for a good while to afford whatever.

If you can afford it, a 980 would be perfect. I just got a 980 myself, and it's a pretty crazy card. (It can run Crysis 3 on max settings.) Just make sure your system has good power supply and cooling systems, 'cos it's pretty demanding. It's a little more powerful than a titan black, for about half the price.
