Hi,

I am planning to build a computer and this is the first time I am going forward to do one. This PC will be used for applications more than gaming. Applications that are typically used are Adobe applications (including photoshop, indesign, illustrator), blender, and few video editing softwares. I do not need a super computer, but also do not want a slow one.

Processor I have chosen is i5-4440 or i5-4590. Now, I am not sure what motherboard I need to use. I am not partial towards MSI or gigabyte or any other manufacturer. However, I need USB 3.0 slot, couple of PCI slots and an ATX board.

I have a budget of 6000 rupees (you know am from India now) for the motherboard. Can anyone suggest a good motherboard in this budget?

Thanks,
Praveen

H87 is the class of motherboard that gives you the features you mentioned. They are all good quality so any new H87 motherboard should be fine. Go with the cheapest one you can find new.

I was checking for 4590 as well and it seems that the difference in cost is less. I might go with it as well. What about the mother board? Any specific boards I can look for? H87 gives me so many results that I got confused with it.
