Dell Precision 490 CPU upgrade

Hi ,
I have a Dell precision 490 and it's current CPU is Dual Intel xeon E5345 .Question is can i upgrade to any other Cpu or are there just some of which i can choose of ?

The new CPU must support socket LGA 771, but that socket has long been dead. You're better off getting a socket LGA 1150 or 2011 CPU and a new compatible motherboard. If using DDR2 RAM, then you'll need to get DDR3 or DDR4 RAM, depending on the motherboard chipset.
