i5 2320 is a little bit faster than amd fx 6300, but you can overclock amd fx 6300 and it will be faster.

For anything that is limited in the number of cores, the i5 will almost certainly benchmark higher. For anything that can use the whole 8 cores it will probably be a toss up but the i5 will probably still come out ahead.

FX 6300 is the best CPU for gaming and browsing....although browsing also depends upon your integrated GPU,so try to choose motherboard with Radeon HD 4200 onboard graphics which is Directx 10.1,so if u don't have dedicated GPU,u can go with integrated GPU.......
