Hello, I have built myself a computer for gaming and would like to know how it will perform with games like GTA V and Far Cry 4.

gpu=gtx 960
cpu=Intel i5-4690k
mobo=z97x-sli
ram= Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb kit
it has an EVGA 600W psu, if that matters.

So, how will this pc be able to handle games like GTA V and Far Cry 4 at 720p or 1080p? Will I be able to get a decent framerate? On the Steam site for Far Cry 4 they recommend an i5-2400s, the gtx 680, and 8gb of ram so I know I can run the games but I want to know if I'll be able to hit 60 fps at high settings.

Thanks for any help!

Solution
The GPU is remotely underwhelming for such a powerful CPU, but it's a pretty good setup regardless. It should allow you to play at high to medium settings at 60 FPS.

Alright thanks! Maybe I'll upgrade the gpu eventually.

I've stumbled upon this thread by accident and while at it, could my fx 8120 along with a 7950 vapor x run GTA on high at decent fps?

I think it should be able to play GTA V at high- custom high settings at about at least 30 FPS, assuming you have at least 8 GBs of RAM.
