want to use 1600 mhz ram in a motherbord that only takes 2133 ram

Do u have ddr4 or ddr 3 ram

You cannot get 1600mhz ddr4 ram. The ram you have is most likely ddr3 and it will not fit in the board. ddr4 ram is not cheap, keep in mind that you will need 4 dimms for the best performance

i use that mobo in one of my rigs with 1600 ddr3 its a pretty decent board

if u want all out i use the msi gaming 9 in my main gaming rig great top tier board

If you are 'super cheap' do NOT get a Z97 or x99 motherboard. Get a motherboard what supports ddr3 not ddr4 memory.
(or simply upgrade your cpu and/or video card on the system you have now).
