Question about RAM slots.

Hello community, i'm currently building a new rig, i have all parts except the RAM, so basically my question is:
- I want to use Dual Channel, but i can't find any RAM packs of 2x4GB / 2x8GB. Is there a problem if i buy two separate RAM sticks? For example: 2x G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1600 (I have always bought 2x2GB / 2x4GB / 2x8GB that's why i'm a little bit unsecure)

You say no 2x4GB sets or 2x8GB sets and are looking at NewEgg - they have about 450 sets of 2x4GB and over 325 sets of 2x8GB - as far as as quality GSkill is tops followed by Corsair (though expensive) then Kingston of those three

Oh sorry, i forgot to mention that i don't live in USA. Local stores are only selling 1x4GB ram sticks (G.Skill, Corsair and Kingston), that's why i want to know if there's a problem with buying two separate 4GBs (same brand and model OFC) and use them in Dual Channel.

Can try no guarantees that two single sticks will play nice - the packages of sets have sticks that are tested and guaranteed to play together
